THATCampVA will start on Friday afternoon, November 8, with your choice of workshops.  That evening we’ll gather in a nearby establishment or two or three, giving everybody a casual opportunity to see old friends or meet new ones.

THATCampVA proper—the unconference you will help us plan—will be held on Saturday, November 9 (wraps up at about 5:00 p.m.). The kids’ track will run in parallel with the unconference. We may also have an additional slate of workshops on Saturday as well.

Getting Here

If you are traveling from outside of the Charlottesville area, you will probably want Maps & Directions to the University of Virginia.

Parking

Two parking garages are within easy walking distance of Alderman Library.  The Central Grounds Garage offers hourly parking on both Friday and Saturday (rates).  The Culbreth Road Garage is permit parking only on Friday but is free on Saturday.  View the Scholars’ Lab and Alderman Library (and relationship to parking) on a Google map.
