I am, and have been for some time, a Ph.D. student in Philosophical Theology at UVa, and am writing a dissertation examining the place of vulnerability within dogmatic theology, primarily looking at how we might think of God and humanity as fundamentally vulnerable. I have a long-standing interest in technology though, and spent the last three years as the Teaching + Technology Support Partner for Religious Studies at UVa, helping faculty and graduate students learn to incorporate technology into their teaching practice. As a new Praxis Fellow, I'm excited to learn more about the backend of the types of technologies I've been working with, learning about coding, design, and project management.
As for Zizek, his works from the late '80s and early '90s are clearly superior to his recent work, his masterpiece on Hegel the exception.
