My start in digital humanities was as part of a nascent online arm of an academic publisher in the late 90s. I taught media studies, worked at the eText center, and did a good bit of mark-up at the turn of the millennium. Over the past six years, I have created an American Studies program at St. Anne's Belfield that puts special emphasis on media creation while using blended learning to study the history and culture of the United States. I am interested in how traditional protocols and practices of the humanities are transformed or traduced by digital technologies.
