I have a Ph.D. in English literature and have published articles on Shakespeare, Milton, Samuel Johnson, and Robert Frost. I worked for a decade in K-8 education as an editor and project manager but am now investigating other career possibilities, including digital humanities type work. I'm interested in databases, data mining, corpus linguistics, authorship attribution, computers in education, and lots of other things. I think Slavoj Zizek is considerably more entertaining than most post-modern theorists, but he's not really my cup of tea -- and neither are the rest of them.
