I am about to start my ninth year of graduate school in the English department. I've always been interested in learning about digital humanities and worked for a brief time with Alison Booth on NINES. My research is on literature of the Great Depression, in particular literary and visual works that cut-and-paste borrowed material into new, visibly composite forms in order to register the effects of crisis and collision. No Galaga for me, but I can throw down with the best of them with Wii Super Mario Galaxy.
